The fact that ENPP is an informal network with participants from all over Europe makes the European activities such as the biannual conferences all the more important.

The ECPP-conferences (European Conference on Positive Psychology) began in 2002 with a limited number of attendants, but the number of people participating in the conferences increased rapidly and in 2010 nearly 700 attended the 5^th ECPP in Copenhagen, Denmark.
