Master programmes

At present there are not that many master programmes available in Europe, but fortunately the development is going in the right direction. So if you know of new master programmes at European universities do let us know.

Master Programme in Positive Psychology at the University of Aarhus, Denmark
From September 2011 it is now possible signing up for a master programme in positive psychology at the Danish School of Education, University of Aarhus, Denmark. The duration of the programme is two years and it primarily adresses people working within the field of HR, management, education and health. The programme provides a thorough introduction to positive psychology and aims at qualifying the students for interventions releasing human potential. Among others teaching staff includes Frans Ørsted Andersen, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Steen Hildebrandt, Anne Kirketerp, Hans Henrik Knoop, Alex Linley, Jeanne Nakamura, Ib Ravn and Bobby Zachariae. Read more about the master programme by clicking here.

Master Programme in Positive Psychology at the University of East London, UK
The MSc Applied Positive Psychology degree offers part-time study possibilities with an intense study-days-structure. There is particular emphasis on skills development, including facilitation, intervention and research skills. The duration of the programme is two years. The programme is led by Dr. Ilona Boniwell. Master Programme in Applied Positive Psychology, Buckinghamshire New University UK
From September 2012 Buckinghamshire New University will be offering a two-year part-time MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. The course will involve a synthesis of theory and research from the leading practitioners in this discipline world-wide. A heavy emphasis will be placed on supporting the use and application of positive psychology. The programme is led by Dr. Piers Worth.For more information please click here
